Abstract We investigate the robust stability of a networked control system (NCS) subject to simultaneous nonlinear uncertainties. An NCS is described as feedback interconnection plant and controller communicating through bidirectional channel modeled by cascaded two-port networks. This model sufficiently rich capture various properties real-world communication channel, such distortion, interference, nonlinearity. provide necessary sufficient condition for finite-gain an when uncertainties in are measured gap metric those channels operator norms uncertain elements. given inequality involving “arcsine” uncertainty bounds derived from novel geometric insights underlying robustness standard closed-loop presence conelike perturbations on graphs.
